Blank Page

Do you start your write up with a title or think of the appropriate title post completing it. The latter one suits me.

When I pickup my pen and stare on a blank page, I generally have no idea what I am going to write about.  Yes sometime, in fact very few time,  I feel a sudden eruption of thoughts, unrestlessens and anxiety fills my heart an urges me to write, which after completion of my writing tends to subside. I feel relieved and lighter post completion. Though this happens quiet a few time with me, most of the time I am just staring at the blank page and pondering on what to write.

Inspiration, muse are not gifted to everyone.  Some search for it within them,  some search it around them and some are gifted to have them forever. I am,  for sure that, I am not at all the gifted one. In fact I have to search it every time,  around, inside, everywhere 24*7. Most of the time the endeavor to seek my inspiration  goes on for days and months.

You guys might be wondering, that why am I sharing this with you all? What is, so interesting  in it? Nothing  is special in my writing and I know that very well. But I will surely love to keep on writing for myself.  An amateur learner within me will surely want to master all the traits of writing and is willing to go through the extreme hardship to accomplish myself as the one who is capable to express every emotions of human life on this challenging blank page.

This blank page, of which I am frightened of from last few days,  who stares me and questions my every words and thoughts, need to filled up to its brim with ink of my pen, and make him destroy the enemity dwelling  between us.

Blank page must be the reason for my writing and a companion in my journey,  who will share everything with me. Nothing is surreptitious  between us.  This journey is surreal,  so don’t ever betray me, my friend.

  1. A pen and a blank paper, that’s all what a true writer need. Be proud of yourself that you have that companion. Inspiration isn’t a gift, it’s an illusion that we think is a gift hard to get.
Just look at that butterfly flying freely in the garden, inspiration will flow in your blood!
    Loved reading it!
    All the best. 😊

      1. It would have been a disaster, trust me. Even though I am bad in grammar, I still respect it.
Though overlooking rules won’t be good but breaking some rules and making some new, will be awesome!!

      1. You’re always welcome! 😊😊
I really liked reading it because that blank paper can be so annoying at times but still that’s the only thing that we need when we want to put down all our emotions onto paper.

      2. It’s really nice talking with you. I remember when we had such talk earlier on my blog. I really liked your thoughts.
And that’s true, the best part for me on WP is talking with new and different people, with their own different opinions. It’s amazing! 😊
I get to know some really wonderful people here and make friends and that’s the most beautiful feeling of all being here.

    1. Thanks for sharing it with me, let me tell you one thing about me, sometimes I write something a sort of Sonnet you can say and then, I find it very difficult to find a suitable title for it, so I leave it untitled.
So it is not necessary to name every work of yours, after all, ‘What is in the name’?

  2. I am a bit of explorer, rather I will call myself the Jack, from jack of all and master of none. I live in fiction, the fantasy world.
Sometimes i already have a story in my head and then i pick up the pen. And sometimes the paper shouts out stories to me.
The same is with the titling, and it is the worst phase for me. I can’t decide a title, even before or after 😦

    1. Well we all have our own method and own style, and yes finding the right title is the toughest decision to be made and if we are doing it post completing it, then it is also the most tiring job to do but then all our work abilities are at stake on the title most of the time. If we choose the right one, then we will be able to draw attention of our target readers towards it.

      1. Yes thats the problem, you need to decide a title, cause its what gonna draw the major audience.
For right now itself, i am planning to write a story, and decided to title it first. Brainstorming since 5 days, no results yet

      2. Are we talking about Voldemort here? 😂😜
So, reach my blog this valentine, and read “the love story which must not be named”.
        Naah!
I think people will take it as “… must not be read”😂😂😂 it’s not going to work this time i guess.
But hey btw, i want to read that one of yours, how can i? Is it on the blog?

      3. Haha, “… must not be read” that’s quite a possibility.
By the way when I said just title it “something that must not be named” I meant to title it for the draft.
I did this while I wrote my first post of blue watery eyes, I didn’t knew what to title it, and then the last line ended with “her blue watery eyes” so I picked that!
Yes, you can find it on my blog! 🙂

      4. Ah yes i have done that for much of my drafts as well, but i just leave them “Un-named” or mostly the main character’s name.
The comments over the latest Blue Watery Eyes were nice, i will read them and the others as soon as i can make the time.
